This is a book i made to "The White Line" - a funny poem by Andrzej Waligórski, a great Polish poet and satirist.
It tells a story of creating a telephone line which comes from Paris to Moscow through a small village Kutno in Poland, where the main character lives. Dreptak (it's his name) is a stereotypical Polish farmer. Seeing what's happening he tries to steal the lines, because he needs a wire, but then after giving it a thought he feels very bad about it, and gives up that idea.
The fanfold form of the book emphasizes how the white telephone line is drawn through the countries. On the back side of the book there are some fragments of conversation carried on between a French lady and a Russian gentleman that little birds are listening to.
Work done as a school project in 2012.
